DESCRIPTION OF LEVELS OF CONSUMPTION OF MACRO NUTRITION AND USE NUTRITIONAL STATUS IN SOCIAL BEACH KEMALA BHAYANGKARI TABANAN

Abstract


Nutritional problems in Indonesia have problems with malnutrition and over nutrition problems are still a nutritional problem at the global and national level. There are still children and adolescents who live in orphanages who experience malnutrition problems, this proves that in an orphanage there are still problems with malnutrition. This study aims to describe the level of consumption of macro nutrients and nutritional status of residents in the Kemala Bhayangkari Tabanan Social Institution. The type of research used was observational with a cross sectional design. The types of data collected included primary data, namely identity, nutritional status data and consumption data, carried out using weighing and interview methods, 3 x 24 hour recall questionnaires and anthropometric measurements (TB, BB). Secondary data, namely general description, organizational structure and number of occupants obtained in related institutions. Processing and analysis of data using a computer program, namely nutri 2008. The results showed that the nutritional status of the residents of most social care institutions was normal. The level of energy, fat and carbohydrate consumption is still in the deficit category. The description of macro nutrient consumption and nutritional status with the highest proportion is the level of consumption deficit with normal nutritional status.
