Manfaat Penyuluhan Dengan Media Video Terhadap Peningkatan Pengetahuan Ibu Hamil Trimester III Tentang Inisiasi Menyusu Dini

Pengetahuan ibu mengenai inisiasi menyusu dini adalah salah satu faktor yang penting dalam kesuksesan pelaksanaan inisiasi menyusu dini. Inisiasi menyusu dini dapat mencegah kematian neonatal. Penyuluhan kesehatan melalui media video memiliki kelebihan dalam memberikan visualisasi yang baik sehingga memudahkan proses penyerapan pengetahuan. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui manfaat penyuluhan dengan media video terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan ibu hamil trimester III tentang inisiasi menyusu dini. Jenis penelitian adalah pre-eksperimental dengan rancangan one-group pretest-postest. Penelitian di lakukan di PMB I.G.A, PMB N.M, PMB S.A, PMB N.S dan PMB A. pada bulan April-Mei 2021. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah cluster random sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 31 orang. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan uji paired t-test. Hasil penelitian untuk pretest pengetahuan rata-rata adalah 46.77 dan posttest pengetahuan setelah mendapatkan penyuluhan melalui media video menjadi 74.88. Hasil uji paired t-test di peroleh p = 0,001 < 0,05. Terdapat pengaruh penyuluhan dengan media video terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan ibu hamil trimester III dtentang inisiasi menyusu dini di PMB I.GA, PMB N.M, PMB S.A, PMB N.S dan PMB A.

Mother's knowledge about early initiation of breastfeeding is one of the important factors in the successful implementation of early initiation of breastfeeding. Early initiation of breastfeeding can prevent neonatal death. Health education through video media has the advantage of providing good visualization so as to facilitate the process of absorbing knowledge. The purpose of the study was to determine the benefits of counseling with video media to increase the knowledge of third trimester pregnant women about early initiation of breastfeeding. This type of research is pre-experimental with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research was conducted at PMB I.G.A, PMB N.M, PMB S.A, PMB N.S, and PMB A. in April-May 2021. The sampling technique is cluster random sampling with a total sample of 31 people. The research instrument used a questionnaire. Data analysis used paired t-test. The results of the research for the average knowledge pretest was 46.77 and the posttest knowledge after getting counseling through video media was 74.88. The results of the paired t-test were obtained p = 0.001 <0.05. There is an effect of counseling with video media on increasing knowledge of third trimester pregnant women about early initiation of breastfeeding at PMB I.GA, PMB N.M, PMB S.A, PMB N.S, and PMB A.
