Authors submitting to Jurnal Ilmiah Kebidanan (The Journal of Midwifery) should use the appropriate manuscript template and complete the required submission form available below. Prepare your manuscript in accordance with the journal’s Author Guidelines.

Research and Review Article Template

For Original Research Articles reporting quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods research and Review Articles, including systematic reviews, scoping reviews, and meta-analyses. Follow the instructions relevant to your study or review.

Clinical Case Report Template

For Clinical Case Reports describing clinically relevant cases and educational lessons in midwifery and related fields. Authors must protect patient confidentiality and obtain appropriate consent for publication.

For Letters to the Editor presenting scholarly comments, critiques, or responses and Research Letters reporting concise original research findings. Select the appropriate manuscript type and follow the corresponding instructions.

Required Submission Form

Statement of Manuscript Authenticity

This form is required for all manuscript types. Download and complete the form, obtain signatures from all authors, and upload the signed document as a separate PDF file during submission.

The statement confirms manuscript originality, author approval, and relevant disclosures. It does not replace ethics approval, participant consent, or patient consent for publication where applicable.

How to Use the Files

  1. Open the appropriate template or form using the links above.

  2. Download an editable copy or make a personal copy in Google Docs. Do not request editing access to the master file.

  3. Replace the placeholders with your manuscript content and remove all instructional text, examples, and unused sections.

  4. Check that the manuscript complies with the Author Guidelines and the requirements for the selected manuscript type.

  5. Upload the manuscript and signed Statement of Manuscript Authenticity as separate files through the journal’s online submission system.

Similarity screening: Authors are not required to submit a similarity report with their initial submission. The journal conducts similarity screening during the initial editorial assessment.
