Author Processing Charge

Jurnal Ilmiah Kebidanan (The Journal of Midwifery) is committed to supporting the wide dissemination of scientific knowledge while maintaining high standards in editorial and publication processes.

This journal charges the following author fees:

Article Submission Fee

Rp. 0,- (Free of Charge)

Authors are not required to pay any submission fee when submitting their manuscripts to the journal. All manuscripts will undergo the standard editorial and peer-review process.

Article Processing Charges (APC) / Article Publication Fee

Rp. 500.000,- per accepted article

The Article Processing Charge (APC) is applied only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication following the peer-review process.

The publication fee is used to support the cost of journal management and open-access publication, including:

  • Editorial and administrative processing of manuscripts

  • DOI registration for each published article through Crossref

  • Similarity checking using Turnitin

  • Professional copyediting and layout editing according to the journal template and publication standards

  • Online hosting and long-term digital preservation of published articles

The APC covers manuscripts with a maximum length of 12 pages following the journal template.

Any additional costs, if applicable, will be communicated to the authors before publication.
