Article Processing Charges (APC)

Jurnal Ilmiah Kebidanan (The Journal of Midwifery) is committed to supporting the wide dissemination of scientific knowledge while maintaining high editorial and publishing standards.

The journal applies the following publication fees:

Article Submission Fee

IDR 0 (Free of Charge)

Authors are not required to pay any fee when submitting a manuscript. All submitted manuscripts undergo the journal's standard editorial screening and double-blind peer review process.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

IDR 500,000 per accepted article

The APC is charged only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication.

APC Coverage

The publication fee supports the costs of:

  • Editorial and administrative processing.
  • DOI registration through Crossref.
  • Similarity checking using Turnitin.
  • Copyediting and layout editing.

Editorial Independence

The payment of article processing charges does not influence editorial decisions. All manuscripts are evaluated based on their scientific quality, originality, relevance to the journal's focus and scope, and compliance with publication ethics.

Payment Procedure

Payment instructions are communicated to the corresponding author after the manuscript has been accepted for publication. Notifications are provided through the journal's Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, including email notifications, and may also be communicated via WhatsApp.
