HUBUNGAN PENGGUNAAN GADGET, AKTIVITAS FISIK DENGAN STATUS GIZI SISWA SMP DI KOTA DENPASAR

Abstract

Nutritional status is influenced by some factor, one of which is physical activity. If low physical activity can have an impact on weight gain and affect one's nutritional status. Physical activity can be indirectly affected by the use of gadgets, where if the use of gadgets is classified it can often have an impact on physical activity that is lacking. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between the use of gadgets, physical activity and the nutritional status of junior high school students in Denpasar City. The typed of this studied was an observational studied, with a crossed sectional studied design and used 81 sample. Data was presented with frequency tables and crossed tables then analyzed using the person correlation test. The results showed that, 11 samples (13. 58%) had obesity nutritional status, 36 samples (44. 11%) classified as using gadgets with frequent categories, 40 samples (49. 38%) classified as physical activities in the mild categories.  The results of the analysis show that there was a correlation between the used of gadgets and physical activity (r = -0. 230; p = 0. 039) and there was a correlation between physical activity and nutritional status (r = -0. 553; p = 0,000).
