Jurnal Gema Keperawatan is a peer-reviewed, open access journal published biannually (June and December) by the Department of Nursing, Politeknik Kesehatan Denpasar. The journal publishes original research articles in nursing, including quantitative and qualitative studies.

The journal provides immediate open access to all published content, ensuring that articles are freely available without subscription or access fees to support the global dissemination of nursing knowledge.

All submitted manuscripts undergo plagiarism screening using validated similarity detection software, with a maximum similarity index of 20%, and are subject to a rigorous peer-review process. The journal adheres to established publication ethics and editorial best practices.

Metadata is structured according to Open Journal Systems (OJS) standards to support indexing and harvesting via OAI-PMH. The journal supports long-term digital preservation through the archiving system integrated within OJS. Licensing and copyright policies are transparently stated on each published article.
