Archiving

1. Digital Archiving Commitment

Jurnal Meditory is committed to the permanent availability and preservation of all published scholarly works.
The journal ensures long-term accessibility by maintaining secure digital storage and hosting backup systems managed in accordance with current technological standards.

2. Archiving System

All electronic content of the Meditory Journal—including articles, manuscripts, and related materials—is securely stored on the main server (hosting).
Regular backups are performed by the hosting service provider to ensure the security and availability of data in the event of technical disruptions.

In the case of a server failure, the website and all journal content can be restored within 24–48 hours through the hosting provider’s automated data recovery system.

3. File Format and Storage

All published articles are preserved in PDF and HTML formats to ensure long-term readability and compatibility across platforms.
Article metadata are stored in XML format to support interoperability with indexing services and digital preservation systems.

4. Self-Archiving Policy

Jurnal Meditory fully supports self-archiving practices.
Authors are permitted and encouraged to upload the final published version of their articles to personal or institutional repositories immediately after publication, provided that complete bibliographic information indicating publication in Jurnal Meditory is clearly included.

5. Indexing and Digital Preservation

Each published article in Jurnal Meditory is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) through CrossRef, ensuring permanent identification and citation tracking.
The journal’s content is indexed in Google Scholar and is permanently available on the official website in HTML and PDF formats.

Metadata are shared via the Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH) to enable inclusion in external digital repositories and indexing systems.

6. If the Journal Ceases Publication

If Jurnal Meditory ceases publication for any reason, all previously published articles will remain publicly accessible for at least 10 years after discontinuation.
The content will continue to be stored and preserved through the backup hosting system to ensure long-term accessibility and data security.

7. In Case of Legal Claims or Complaints

If Jurnal Meditory receives a formal complaint or legal claim, all relevant digital documents (such as emails, notes, and review records) will be secured immediately by the Managing Editor and Secretariat.
Copies of all related data will be stored on the main hosting server to maintain information integrity.

Deleting any data after notification of a potential legal claim is strictly prohibited and will be treated as a serious violation subject to disciplinary action.

8. Summary

Through a reliable hosting backup system, Jurnal Meditory ensures that all published research outputs remain secure, accessible, and preserved for the long term, meeting international standards of publication ethics and digital archiving.
