Abstract


The transformation of primary services is one of the important pillars which aims to bring quality promotive and preventive services. The problems found as a result of the evaluation of community service at SDN 2 Kerobokan Kaja, Kuta Utara, Badung Regency in 2022, data was obtained that knowledge about how to brush teeth still needs to be improved, because it is in the sufficient category, and teeth brushing skills need guidance, because the results of brushing teeth are still not optimal. The aim of this research is to know the level of knowledge of brushing skill before and after dental health promotion by peer tutors and teeth brushing skills of students at SD N 2 Kerobokan Kaja, Badung Regency in 2022. The methode of this research was action research, with a sample size of 75 peoples. The data taken from Januari to December 2024, in SDN 2 Kerobokan Kaja, Kuta Utara, Badung Regency in 2022. The results of this research shows, there was an increase in knowledge about tooth brushing from the average category to a good category after students were given an explanation about how to tooth brushing correctly and carefully and the results of observations of tooth brushing guidance showed that 50% of the movements were carried out correctly by all students who were guided by the peer tutor. The conclusion of this research there is an increase in knowledge and skills in tooth brushing of students in SDN 2 Kerobokan Kaja, Kuta Utara, Badung Regency in 2022
