Edukasi bagi Remaja Untuk Mewaspadai Tindak Kekerasan dalam Berpacaran di Kota Denpasar

Abstract


Kekerasan dalam pacaran pada remaja adalah permasalahan serius yang harus segera ditangani, karena berdampak buruk bagi kesehatan di masa mendatang. Sasaran adalah remaja (laki-laki dan perempuan) yang berusia antara 15 sampai 24 tahun belum menikah dan dipilih sesuai kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Pengabdi memberikan 2 kali intervensi berupa bimbingan menggunakan media buku saku dan studi kasus, serta video kemudian responden diamati dua kali dengan jarak waktu 1 bulan setelah observasi pertama. Luaran dari kegiatan pengabdian adalah luaran wajib berupa produk pelatihan berupa buku saku, video dan modul bagi guru pembina OSIS. Kegiatan pengabdian berlangsung dari Juni sampai September 2021. Lokasi kegiatan adalah di Wilayah Kerja UPTD Dinas Kesehatan I Kecamatan Denpasar Barat, meliputi SMP PGRI 1 dan SMP Sapta Andika, anggota karang taruna di Wilayah Desa Tegal Harum. Jumlah sasaran sebanyak 70 orang remaja. Karakteristik remaja tidak berhubungan secara signifikan dengan perubahan skor pengetahuan dan kewaspadaan remaja terkait cara mencegah tindak kekerasan dalam berpacaran. Peningkatan skor posttest pengetahuan dan kewaspadaan disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor terutama umur remaja. Materi yang disampaikan melalui media video dan buku saku diketahui efektif dan menarik digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran/edukasi bagi responden. Kegiatan edukasi bagi remaja hendaknya dilakukan secara berkesinambungan dan diharapkan dibuat kegiatan konsultasi secara luring bagi remaja terkait upaya menghindari tindak kekerasan dalam berpacaran
