HUBUNGAN TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN SIKAP DAN TINDAKAN IBU RUMAH TANGGA DENGAN KEJADIAN DIARE PADA BALITA DI DESA BUNGAYA TAHUN 2023

Abstract


Diarrhea is one of the diseases that occur in many toddlers. The illness or health of the child will be influenced by maternal factors. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a relationship between the level of knowledge, attitudes and actions of housewives with the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers. This study was observational analytic using cross sectional method. Chi Square test results, obtained a sig value of maternal knowledge level with the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers of 0.008. The results of the mother's attitude with the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers obtained a sig value of 0.004 and the mother's action with the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers obtained a sig value of 0.002. It can be concluded that there is a relationship between the level of knowledge, attitudes and actions of housewives with the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers. Due to the lack of knowledge, attitudes and actions of housewives about diarrhea in toddlers, the advice given is that housewives are expected to seek more information about diarrheal diseases in toddlers such as in books or online articles
