Efektivitas Website 'Senyum Bali' terhadap Pengetahuan dan Minat Perawatan Gigi Pasca-Metatah

Metatah, the Balinese Hindu tooth-filing rite marking maturity, deliberately abrades six anterior teeth as exposing dentin and raising hypersensitivity risk at the same time as knowledge is lacking. This study tested whether ‘Senyum Bali.” A culturally embedded educational website, could close that gap. In a one-group pretest-posttest quasi experimental study, 150 purposively sampled students in the range of 15-18 years from SMA Negeri 1 Ubud, Bali, completed the knowledge validation and interest through 15 items each questionnaired before and after ne day of self-directed website access (Cronbach Alpha = 0.926/00.988). Wilcoxon signed rank tests (p < 0.001) showing knowledge jumped from 4.77 t0 13.39 and interest from 19.91 to 52.51 (both p = 0.001), a low to high shift on both meausers. Paiting clincal accuracy for post-ritual dental education; controlled, longer term trials should confirm lasting behavior change.
