Tingkat Pengetahuan Tentang Pemeliharaan Kesehatan Gigi dan Mulut Serta Keterampilan Menyikat Gigi pada Siswa Kelas V SD N 10 Sumerta Denpasar Timur Tahun 2023

Abstract

Dental and oral health is one thing that needs to be considered, poor oral cavity conditions can cause various kinds of dental and oral diseases. The level of knowledge and skill can affect oral and dental health. Knowledge of dental and oral health can be improved through health promotion such as counseling. Tooth brushing skills can be seen from the way, time and frequency of brushing your teeth. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of knowledge and mean about maintaining dental and oral health and brushing skills in grade V students of SDN 10 Sumerta East Denpasar in 2023. This type of research is a descriptive research with a design survey. The data used in this study are primary and secondary data. In the form of 15 question test sheets and direct observations with observation sheets and a list of names. The results of research on dental health knowledge are good criteria, sufficient criteria, less criteria and average level of knowledge. The results of the research on brushing skills criteria are very good, the criteria are good, the criteria are sufficient, the criteria need guidance as well as the average skills. The conclusion is that the level of knowledge about the maintenance of dental and oral health is the most with good criteria and the least with less criteria. The least brushing skills with sufficient criteria.
